Estee Lauder Spring '09 Fuchsia Now & Nutritious Vita-Mineral Makeup

Fuchsia Now Collection

Available for a limited time at Estée Lauder counters nationwide and www.esteelauder.com January 2009.

Features:
Taking cues from the spring runways, Estée Lauder’s new, limited edition Fuchsia Now Color Collection is a feminine, flirty and fun color collection that encapsulates the trend of wearing bold color combined with soft neutrals. Fuschia Now contrasts light and bright, pairing warm honey and tender peach shades with vibrant fuchsia for a look that is flattering for every skin tone. Cheeks bloom with a hint of fresh color, while eyes allure in shades of deep indigo and rich earth tones. Lips are full, soft and lustrous and are enhanced by perfectly polished nails in complementary shades. Soft petal designs, featured in the collection’s powder compact and eye shadow palettes, highlight the vibrant fuchsia touches and reinforce the season’s upbeat and lighthearted mood.

Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Makeup Collection
Skin-Loving Minerals and Powerful Pomegranate for a Naturally Radiant Glow

Features:
Nutritious Vita-Mineral Loose Powder SPF 15 Makeup and Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid SPF 10 Makeup will be available at Estée Lauder counters nationwide and on www.esteelauder.com beginning in February 2009.

Formulated with Pomegranate - one of the most nutrient-dense fruits ever discovered, Nutritious Vita-Mineral Loose Powder SPF 15 Makeup and Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid SPF 10 Makeup utilize the fruit’s numerous skin boosting nutrients and potent antioxidants such as Vitamins C and E as well as Iron and Potassium, to provide a burst of radiance to the skin for a healthy glow and immediate vibrancy. Pomegranate also works in the formula to help neutralize free radicals and protect the skin from harmful environmental conditions.

Products:
Nutritious Vita-Mineral Loose Powder SPF 15 Makeup is non-drying and comes with its own exclusive deluxe loose powder foundation brush. Available in 6 shades.

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid SPF 10 Makeup is the newest form to get your mineral makeup every day and provides additional moisturization. Available in 6 Shades.

My Thoughts: The Fuchsia now collection does not grab my attention. Sure everything looks very pretty but I do not feel it something I would use often. The Fleur de Lys Shimmer Powder might be worth checking out at the counter but I am not making any calls on it just yet.
Now the Nutritious Vita-Mineral foundations sound like something worth trying. I know pomegranate is all the rage for drinking and eating. It could not hurt to give a whirl on the face. I had thought about trying the Smashbox halo hydrating powder but after reading HSN and QVC reviews I doubt it will work like they show on TV. I think I will give this one a try once it hits the counters.

Sorry, the original picture I had up was just temporary. There was some issues with this correct image file which are now fixed.
