My Experience:
YUM! I expected this scrub to be rough and not tasty at all. I was wrong on both accounts. The scrub contains some wonderful oils for the lips and the brown sugar is finely milled. In the picture above you can see the smooth texture of the scrub. There is no need to use a balm after using this scrub. The oils in the scrub cling to the lips. My lips not only looked great but felt great. I honestly did not expect much from this scrub as I have not had the best of luck with sugar scrubs for my lips.

For the application I apply the scrub as if putting on lip balm and remove with a wet wash cloth. Then I just scrub away for about 20 seconds. You do not need the wet wash cloth as a tissue will work too. You can lick it off since all the ingredients are edible. I did taste the scrub and it is not bad. Actually, it is pretty hard to not want to taste it as the smell of the brown sugar is tempting.

Besides the results I love that a little goes a long way. While the container is not huge it will last a very long time even if used daily. I only need less than half a pea size for each application. Looking at the container I would say it will probably last around two months if used daily. Though I do not suggest using a scrub on your lips every day.

I have more Lumiere Cosmetics reviews coming this week. Overall, I am pretty impressed with the company. I am still testing so I do not have a confirmed verdict as of today. I will say everything has a great texture and so far very good lasting power.
